@Rauf: Do I understand right that WinSCP did not display the large file in the remote file panel? And after you have enabled the 'Optimize connection buffer size' option, the file started showing? That's unlikely. That option cannot affect what files are shown. Something else must have changed.
Disabling 'Optimize connection buffer size' in (Connection page of the Advanced Site Settings dialog) solved the problem.
I was trying to download a large .sql dump file (16GB) using WinSCP but it wouldn't show the file in my home directory.
However, trying with another vendor shows the file perfectly fine.
I was using SFTP connection.
Are you using SFTP protocol? Some SFTP servers skip large files. Can you try another SFTP client to check that it is indeed a server-side issue?
Hi I have a problem when I login to a site via SSH I cannot see large files.
For instance I have a file that is 2.6 Gigs I can see the file if I login via command line telnet, but not in the explorer window of WinSCP, is this a known issue?
