Re: Question about encryption

It does encrypt the packets if you are using SSH or FTP over SSL. You will see a lock icon on WinSCP status bar.

Your network administrator may see the files if he has control over the server.

Hi, Will my network administrator be able to tell what files I am transferring to my machine or does winscp encrypt the packets very well?
