WinSCP does not support character encoding conversion in general atm.

I requesting a new feature for file transfer conversion between ascii/ ebcdic. I am not sure if this support already exist and im not doing config right in winscp. So to the feature request:

It would be great if that option could be set/configured in "settings" for file transfer where you select mode standard/binary/ etc.
