I've got it doing what I need via a script. I have WinSCP minimized to the system tray monitoring a specific folder, and it just copies to a remote server when a change is made, nice and straight forward with no user intervention (love it). Unfortunately it's not good enough. Is there anyway to display a message on the screen when a successfull or failed file transfer has been made? Or even a baloon from the system tray?

Otherwise I am stuck making the transfer process manual so the users can see the file progression :(

You can use /keepuptodate command-line parameter (to start GUI sync):

Okay, posted to soon and without thinking. I've created a shortcut to WinSCP which I can put in to my startup folder to run WinSCP with a stored session, what I can't find in the documentation is how to have WinSCP start with specific Sync Options and minimized?

Is it possible to have Winscp run at Windows statup and auto-login with a pre-specified username/password? And then keep a local and a remote folder in sync without any user intervention? I can do it manually by using Commands>Keep Directory upto Date after I've connected to the server, but I can't seem to automate the process. All I am trying to archive is to keep the camera folder on a laptop in sync with a remote FTP server.
