Did the uninstall help? Was is rebooting, when WinSCP was running? Or anytime?

I received a notify that there was a new release of winscp, I did not pay attention to the release, but my install is on winxp, and once I did the upgrade my machine would reboot without requesting a reboot, I uninstalled the software for now.
