Sorry I was wrong. The Optimize connection buffer size is always off since 4.3.3 (until 4.3.9). So your problem is not related. I do not know what else to suggest. Sorry.

There's no way to turn off Optimize connection buffer size in 4.3.5.

The issue I have is that this situation occurs from time to time.
I'm stuck using WinSCP 4.3.5 and on the Connection tab I do not have the option to un-select "Optimize connection buffer size".
