Thanks, Martin! I changed the directory permissions and it running like a dream again. :)

Re: WinSCP File Transfer to virtual directory

You do not have write permissions to C:\Program Files\Persoft\STEssen\Transfer.
So the Windows redirects WinSCP to the virtual store.
Run WinSCP with elevated permissions to allow writing to C:\Program Files.

WinSCP File Transfer to virtual directory

I'm using Windows 7 and the latest version of WinSCP (4.3.9).

When I transfer files from a remote directory to my local directory, the files are being placed in an unexpected directory. When I select to transfer the files to local directory:

C:\Program Files\Persoft\STEssen\Transfer

the files actually go to:

C:\Users\lc13209\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\Persoft\STEssen\Transfer.

I can select the desired local directory using the WinSCP explorer and it confirms the desired directory when transferring the files. But the files don't go there.

Interestingly, when I manually place a file in EITHER directory using Windows Explorer and press the 'refresh' button in WinSCP, WinSCP shows the file in the 'local directory' listing.

Any help would be appreciated! :)

Cheers,
Lee
