With filezilla you can only set different permissions in two separate steps. Is that what you actually mean?

with filezilla I used to do so in the past. it was very handy.
how do you reduce file and folder rights?

You cannot set different permissions to files and folders (except for the X) automatically with WinSCP.

hi,
since a few weeks, I use winscp. I'm looking for the possibility to reduce the rights recursive. what I mean is, I want to set all files from a whole project to 0444.
I know how to decrease the rights (I set the rights for the files to 0666 and activate the option "X bei verzeichnissen setzen".
can anybody give me information to reduce the rights (to 0444/files 0755/folders) for a whole project?
