Thanks for your report.
Can you try to install WinSCP again and use /log="log_path" switch to generate log?

Well, the last trial worked out.
I didn't change anything - just waiting.
However, 30 minutes to install does not seem normal ...

Installer stops responding with [Capture1]
When I tell the installer not to make an Startup entry, it hangs with [Capture2]
