Yes I can reproduce this error if I switch the local file panel to D: with no disc in the drive. With a disc in the drive I do not get the error, it successfully reads it. However this isn't the problem I am having. I don't use the D: drive in WinSCP. I have the local file panel set on desktop. But if I had a disc in the computer earlier, then take it out WinSCP will not load as all I get is that error.

You can reproduce this error this way:

1.Open WinSCP connect to any ftp server.
2. The local file panel can stay set on desktop, no need to go to D:
3. Insert disc in drive.
4. Disconnect from WinSCP and remove disk.
5. Now open WinSCP again and try to connect to ftp server.
6. You will not be able to unless you insert a disc or restart computer.

It is like this bug has came back to life: https://winscp.net/tracker/19

Thanks.

There is no disk in the drive...

If I insert a disk into my drive while WinSCP is open, then later remove the disk and restart WinSCP I get the following error message every time: "There is no disk in the drive. Please insert a disk into drive D:."

If I click cancel, try again, or continue the message will reappear every time. The only way to get rid of the message is through task manager by force removal. However, if I then try to reopen WinSCP again I get the same error message. The only way I found to fix this and get WinSCP to work again is to restart the computer or to insert the disc back. This bug needs to be fixed as soon as possible as people that are all the time using CD's/DVD's in the computer have to restart every time or insert a disk. This error can be reproduced on 5.1, 5.1.4 and 5.2 beta and probably more.

Thanks.
