Hi,
i have the same problem every time i try to download many files from my FTP server.

On both 5.5.4 and 5.6 beta, large transfers over FTP trigger a crash. Can be 1 large file or multiple files totaling over a certain amount (seems to be somewhere above 30mb, below this no problems).

5.5.4 has no trouble with the same set of test files over a different protocol (I set up a test server to try it). Didn't get to try diff protocol with the beta, as it has a diff error preventing me from getting that far and I see that has already been reported.
What different error do you mean?

Apologies, realized I failed to include some info.
OS is Win7, 64 bit edition. WinSCP is in portable mode.
Log file has nothing interesting till it hits:
