I am temporarily in France and want to use WinSCP to download and upload files from my Readynas NV+1.

It seems to time out frequently. I was able to download only one complete file [400 MBs] after numerous tries.
SFTP seems to work better than SCP.

I can successfully use AndFTP using SCP.

I am installing the latest MS updates, everyday its more.

Can you help me troubleshoot this?

New user. Win7 Ultimate. ADSL.

I am temporarily in France and want to use WinSCP to download files from my Readynas NV+1 located in San Jose, California.

I use the gui, SCP format.

It seems to time out frequently. I was able to download only one complete file [400 MBs] after numerous tries.

I can successfully use AndFTP using SCP, on my smartphone.

I've tried it with Optimize buffers off; do not try FTP if disconnect; server timeout 300 seconds; keep alive 30 seconds; time zone -9 hours and resend key 0.

When it fails the progress column says "query" and then I get an error message download fatally failed.

Can you help me troubleshoot this?
