WinSCP indeed won't display the ".." entry, if the SFTP server does not include it in the directory listing (most do include it).

Hello, I have an issue with displaying .. on one of the company's local sftp servers, when I enter any folder, if it does contain any sub-elements (files or other sub-folders), then no .. for upper level navigation is displayed, and only if folder is empty then .. is displayed. Is this a known issue with Winscp/sftp servers/some configuration of both, or something new? If second, what information do you need to investigate and resolve it?
