Filezilla is for me 20x faster than winscp (80Mbit vs. 4Mit(
I've same issue, frustaded about download speed showing between 3-4 Mbit/s using SFTP and winscp is only doing on one file, I can not change behaviour for "synchronisation" to do more files simultanously, also after studied the manual to shift synchronisation into background.
Its showing me around 80h for syncronisation of 1.6 TB.
I tried over several days, but the situation is not better.
Also the startup time to start download is horrable, cause winscp wants to calculate all the space. So must wait before any usable download starts, cause it need time to look over all folders and files, these around 200'000 files on the remote.
I've installed now filezilla on same client and the downloadspeed is at 40 Mbit/s per file and it is downloading mostly always two files, so it is around 80 Mbit/s effectivly, so have 20x times faster, so I assume it will be done in 4h instead of 80h.
So I cant understand why its slows so down via winscp.
