Maybe you disabled queue processing? See Commands > Queue > Process Queue.

You're right! They actually all show up in the transfer queue... Why does this happen? How do I make it so that any files that get updated, saved, or altered, get automatically changed without going into the queue with the Waiting.. Progress I would have to force it to start every time.

WinSCP Version 5.5.3 (Build 4214)
I upload (drag&drop) my file through WinSCP onto a cluster. I open the file and edit the file. I close out of the file. I try to open it again, and the error pops up:
The file 'such_and_such' is already opened in external editor (application) or is being uploaded.
Nothing else is open on my computer..[/img]
