Thanks for letting me know.

However it seems that the problem occurs only in single-instance editor mode. Try to choose the multiple-instance mode (Editor tab of Preferences window).

WinSCP version 3.7.1 (build 257) I also had this problem with my previous version 3.6.8

When I conntect and right-click a file and select Edit, winscp goes into a heavy loop consuming 98% of my CPU.
If I close the edit window, it returns to normal.
