There's no API to get the trace file name. So delete the files based on their timestamp.
They are running multiple threads so there are multiple files creating each minute so I cannot delete everything. I need to know what the file name is so I will delete only that file each time the process completes successfully.
Just copy any winscp*trace.log
file away when the session fails and delete it when it succeeds. So they won't accumulate.
The debug version generates the following file winscpXXXXtrace.log each time it connects to an FTP. The problem using this version is that it generates too many files during the day something that I do not want to deploy in our Live Environment. Is it possible to delete the file when the session closes or if not how can I get the file name from session and I will delete it myself. Using this case when the crash or blue screen occur the file will not be deleted and I can easily recognize it and sent it to you for investigation.
Thanks.
Thanks for your report.
I have sent you an email with a debug version of WinSCP to the address you have used to register on this forum.
