Yes I'd read that too, but as per my OP, I don't have a browse tab. I only have the .Net tab. Perhaps this is something unique when editing an SSIS Script Task?
Anyway, I got around the problem on my machine by manually copying the DLL into one of the folders where existing references were located. In my case that was in C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\
Next step is to try and deploy the finished solution to a production machine.
