Version 0.0.4.0 has recently been released, but after installing it I found that time and date stamps were ok for files but were inaccurate for folders. Icons weren't displayed correctly, with links and folders displayed as files. I could only navigate up the tree and not down, which generated an error 3 in WinSCP.

I then installed v0.0.2.0 and that works perfectly. The only problem was uninstalling the v0.0.4.0 ssh_lsa.dll from System32. The powershell uninstall script failed to remove it. It seems to be in use at all times by some unknown process and can't be overwritten or deleted while the OS is running. I had to boot into another OS and delete it from there.

Hopefully the guys at github will eventually fix the problem.

It's clearly a bug in the server.

Not sure what the build is. The zip file came from the link on the WinSCP guide page: https://github.com/PowerShell/Win32-OpenSSH/releases dated 06/11/2016 and the version of sftp-server.exe is 0.0.3.0.

I have just installed the latest version of OpenSSH on my Windows 10 desktop and have a netbook running Windows 7 pro connected to it using a LAN cable. I can log into the desktop using the latest version of WinSCP and Filzilla, but both display files in the right hand window as being folders. For example a text document is misidentified as being a folder of the same name. This becomes interesting when the tree view is used as everything in the directory listing is a folder! Also, when a file is transferred, the date and time stamps are not preserved and are reset to 01-01-1970 0:0:0. Any attempt to delete the file results in an error message (see log file). The same thing is true of FilZilla, the only difference is that Filezilla does delete the file and does not generate an error message.

I have set up OpenSSH in accordance with the instructions posted on the WinSCP site. The configuration is basically the default with the exception of the path to the OpenSSH binaries which is C:\OpenSSH and an additional Port entry for 443. The RSA Authorization file is at C:\Users\Administrator\.SSH and I am logged in as Administrator on both machines. There are no problems with logging in using RSA keys.

I have also tried PuTTY's sftp.exe and found that it preserves date and time stamps and works without any problems.

I think the problem is on the server side, but no amount of tinkering with the config file seems to help. Another possibility could be permissions on the Win 10 machine.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
