It is a bug. I'll look at this, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to fix it.

Group-select after refresh
Hi Martin,
When I highlight items using a mouse and a shift key, the range of items from the current focus position to the clicked item is selected. If I refresh the pane, the focus keeps its position. But after that, if I highlight items using a mouse and a shift key, the range of items from the top to the clicked item is selected (the current focus position is ignored). Is this a bug or a feature?
I am using WinSCP 3.7.4 (Build 271).
