Slow file listing when connecting

I have a folder on the server with more than 10,000 files. When I switch to that folder, it will be shown in around 5 seconds. This is fine for me. However, when disconnecting while this folder was selected and reconnect, it takes 80 seconds to show the files and the app is frozen during that time.

Would be great to get some help how to fix that or seeing it fixed in a new version.
