Re: file listing keeps flipping to the currently selected file

WinSCP does not behave like this usually. There must be something special about your system.

Can you maybe record a video to demonstrate the problem?

Is there something unusual about your system? Some Windows shell extension? Unusual Windows theme? Unusual pointing device?

file listing keeps flipping to the currently selected file

WinSCP 5.9.3 (7136) under Windows Server 2012 R2, SFTP-3, Explorer GUI.

File panel with the directory tree on the left. On the right the files in the active directory, "Details" view style.
When I scroll up or down in that panel, using the slider on the scrollbar and not the up and down arrow keys, after a few seconds the visible part of the panel flips back to the portion of the list that contains the currently selected file.
This means I cannot study the contents of the directory that are not listed close to the currently selected file, I have to select another one to keep the view where I want it. Apparently, the currently selected file cannot be out of sight for more than a few seconds.

Is there a way to switch this off ?
