I hope that directory timestamps updating is now on todo list :-)

It was discussed recently in another topic. I'm not yet convinced that it is reasonable thing to do.

Text transfer mode DOESN'T work as is usual for "FTP" (I am using WinSCP 3.7.5 beta). It DOES change also characters inside of file not just at the end of line (CR/LF). For example small letter c with caron (coded as E8 in windows 1250 automagicly becomes 3F in uploaded file?????). Could you help me?

I'll check that. I haven't seen the problem before.

I found the problem and I think WinSCP works OK. I was exporting txt files from different versions of MS Excel and version 2003 does it wrong. My mistake, sorry.

Also time stamping doesn't work as expected. scp command from openssh nicely keeps me timestamps from files and directories, WinSCP simply doesn't change directory timestamp but keeps creation date. As was suggested in forums I am using Daylight Saving Time -> Server works in UTC time (Adjust DST locally), if I use "Server adjust DST" file timestamps changes "randomly" for +- 1 hour, directory timestamps are still changed to creation date. Can I configure something to help that problem?

WinSCP does not update timestamp of directories.
