Man, I am so dumb. I randomly generated a new password today and typed it in many many times so I wouldn't forget. Of course, I forgot a single character.
The only place it is written down is in the winscp3.ini file, which I know is a simple symmetric encryption that can be easily recovered. Can I have the key/algorithm for this encryption so that I can recover my password? thanks.
Never mind, I remembered it. Also, that should have been a frowny face, but now it's ok.
