What version were you using previously? What is more complicated about the latest version?

You can download any version of WinSCP from:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/winscp/files/WinSCP/

Though I strongly discourage you from doing so.

Previous versions?

Can we download previous versions of WinSCP? I've used it for years, but the newest version 5.13.1 has me stopped and I see that others are having similar login problems. 5.13.1 looks unnecessarily complicated and I'd like to return to my earlier version which was MUCH easier to work with. Thanks!
