Re: Connection drops during script upload

Please attach a full session log file showing the problem (using the latest version of WinSCP).

To generate the session log file, use /log=path_to_log_file command-line argument. Submit the log with your post as an attachment. Note that passwords and passphrases not stored in the log. You may want to remove other data you consider sensitive though, such as host names, IP addresses, account names or file names (unless they are relevant to the problem). If you do not want to post the log publicly, you can mark the attachment as private.

Connection drops during script upload

I am brand new here but did spend time looking for the answer here in the forum with no success. There seems to be a lot of discussion about the issue, but I cannot find the resolution.

I use a static batch file to run a very long winscp script (.txt file) that has been generated by my code. I was happy with the initial results until I realized not everything was getting uploaded. As I was watching the execution, I see the connection drop several times then it is reestablished and the upload resumes properly. All that is good, but at some point it must not be reconnecting because many of the files are not uploaded. I mean I am talking about thousands of files total so it is very difficult to sit there and watch the entire process.

In previous posts, you have asked for the log file. I don't even know where to find it. Please advise.

Thank you.
