Why? What prevents you? Do you have the latest version of WinSCP, which supports browsing UNC paths?

It means NAS on the left, server on the right panel

Hi,

I'm on the same situation. I store all my work files to my NAS, and would like to transfert files from NAS to my cloud server.

Unfortunately, can't access local network machines on the left panel of winSCP. Have to copy files from my NAS to my desktop before uploading them.

Very annoying and frustrating, and that's why I'm actually trying to find an winSCP alternative. But no filezilla cause I don't like it.

Re: FTP software with local network support

What does it mean "local network support"? How do you transfer the files from NAS to desktop?

FTP software with local network support

Hello,

I'm using WinSCP for years and I'm happy with it. Unfortunately I now store all my files to a NAS and I can't use winSCP anymore cause I can't transfert file from my NAS to my server.

I have to copy the files to my desktop before transfering them, and this is very annoying.

I did like that since month, now I'm decided to find another program that would provide that feature to make my life (a lot) easier.

Do you guys know a good program to do that ? Something like winSCP cause I really like it, but with network support...

Thanks

Alex
