I had something similar
When I logged on normally via ssh I had a script running as part of the .profile that was giving me a load of output. This was causing winscp to fail.
I disabled the script and I was ok again

Do you have any reason to use SCP instead of SFTP?

If you really need SCP, we need a log file to help you, as you got suggested when posting this message, and as is also suggested in documentation of this error message:

Hi All,

I am getting the above error message when i am trying to login to SCP.

Any idea what might have gone wrong?

Other connection works well.
