Me Again...

I just tried the 'session' thing, and it worked fine. Start the proggie. At the 'login' box, go to 'Stored sessions' and click the 'new' button. Then, go about your business of logging in. Enter the URL, user name, password, choose the directories, blah, blah and blah. Once you login, click the 'Store current session' button, and give the session a name. Log off. Next time you login, just click on the stored session and it does everything for you automatically, including going to the right directories.

This proggie rocks!!!

I would store it in a 'session', then use the 'session' to login each time...

how do i get my local directory set to a certain place so that everytime i log on to a server i dont have to look for where i am going i can just be right where i need to be??

This is very simple. In your 'login' box, on the left side, you will see an entry in the tree that says 'Directory.' Click on that. This will allow you to choose the startup directory for both the local and remote machine.

This only works in the 'Norton Commander' mode however. If you use the 'Explorer' mode, you can only choose the remote directory.

At least, that is my understanding. If I am wrong, somebody will correct me, I'm sure...
