How exactly do you open the file in WinSCP? Do you use Edit or Open command?
What version of WinSCP are you using?

Cannot remove temporary directory 'C:<random_text>'

I've been using WinSCP for literally years now and love the software. This ERROR doesn't really bother me, however, I still want it to be removed and I want to get the best experience with WinSCP possible.

Whenever I open a file (notepad++ file) and close it, it comes up with an error bar and the text inside is:

Error
Cannot remove temporary directory 'C:<random_text>'

Please help me to fix this, really starts to get annoying.
