Re: it should only delete files, but it also deletes directories

I do not think your script does that. It can be a behavior of your SFTP server.

If you want us to investigate further, please attach a full session log file showing the problem (using the latest version of WinSCP).

To generate the session log file, use /log=C:\path\to\winscp.log command-line argument. Submit the log with your post as an attachment. Note that passwords and passphrases not stored in the log. You may want to remove other data you consider sensitive though, such as host names, IP addresses, account names or file names (unless they are relevant to the problem). If you do not want to post the log publicly, you can mark the attachment as private.

Btw, doing get and rm is not transactionally safe. Do get -delete instead.

i have a Problem with deleting files and Directorys. Here the Situation:
I connect to an SFTP-Server to pick up daily files and delete this files after Transfer.
/additional-documents --> csv-Files
/additional-documents/kyc --> pdf-Files
/additional-documents/pid --> pdf-Files

I can normally pick up the csv-Files and after Transfer the files will be deleted. here the code:
cd additional-document
option transfer binary
get deu*.CSV K:\REWE\Treuhandreports\
rm deu*.csv

If i pick up the pdf-Files from the subfolders kyc and pic, the file are transferred and deleted normally, but the subfolders kyc and pid are also deleted. I dont know why. here the code:

cd additional-document/kyc
option transfer binary
get bac*.pdf c:\KYC\
rm bac*.pdf

Does somebody has any idea?
