What do you mean by "host machine"? The machine where you run WinSCP? Or the machine where you connect to?

How are you using the WinSCP .NET assembly?

Issue after windows update: WinSCP process terminated with exit code -1073741502 (C0000142).

After windows update on host machine we get error from winSCP while trying to connect to FTP server.

Error:
WinSCP process terminated with exit code -1073741502 (C0000142). There was no output. Response log file C:\\Users\\DefaultAppPool\\AppData\\Local\\Temp\\wscp1BDC.020150CB.tmp was not created. This could indicate lack of write permissions to the log folder or problems starting WinSCP itself
