That makes no sense.
SFTP uses SSH for encryption, not TLS/SSL. SFTP is superior to FTP.
It makes no sense to switch to FTP, because you want to use TLS 1.2.
That's must be some misunderstanding.

SSL/TLS 1.2

The company that we are sending files to is requiring that we use SSL/TLS 1.2 or higher. We are currently using WinSCP with SFTP protocol. I see in the documentation how to set the TLS level using FTP. Am I ok continuing to use SFTP, or do I need to switch to FTP with encryption in order to ensure that we are using TLS 1.2?
