That's probably due to GSSAPI key exchange authentication supported by the latest version of WinSCP.
It will be possible to turn it off in the next version of WinSCP:

WinSCP + MIT Kerberos always try to authenticate via GSSPI

WINSCP has disabled GSSAPI in the connection settings but it always wants to authenticate using GSSPI (I see it becaues it causes my MIT Kerberos to try to get the ticket). Why? Screens attached.
