NickW,
Thanks I found it. What do you think the ini file in the \program files\winscp is for?
Is there a way to change the app to read the \program files\winscp\winscp.ini?
When I searched for instances of WinSCP.ini on Windows7 I found the program was updating a copy at:
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\WinSCP\WinSCP.ini
Once I replaced this ini file version the sessions imported ok.
I noticed the Preferences option dissappears after first login.
I'm also using v4.3.4, running on Windows7. In preferences I've set storage to use the ini file instead of the registry. I added a session and saved it but it does not appear in the ini file unless I export it.
I am wanting to import existing ini settings, but it doesn't work if I switch ini files, may this is due to the above bug or due to differing versions.
I am using v4.3.4 (build 1428). I have setup the app to use .ini file. I see winscp.ini in the \programs files\winscp directory. But when I make changes, there are not saved there. The changes are saved someplace else because when i go back into app, the changer are there.
Any ideas?
Thanks
