I do not understand your question. WinSCP is not FTP client, not it does integrate to IE in anyway. What are you trying to achieve?

I have a couple of users that are computer illiterate, so my question is...
do these users need to install the WinSCP client to be able to ftp using Internet Explorer?

They get easily confused and don't like using new applications, so I'm trying to make it easy for them, by just having them use IE.
