Cannot Navigate to "local" documents when windows is redirecting Desktop/My Docs to a network path

Our corporate windows deployment utilize redirect network folders to our Desktop and My Documents folders. It also hides direct access to the local C: drive by default.

Using this setup while in WinSCP we can only navigate to named network drives. Like S:, but are unable to access the Desktop or My Documents folders that are redirect to a network path.

I have tested this in v 5.7.4 and 5.5.1.

Is there anyway around this? I've tried running it as both a regular user and as an administrator.
