alias ls="ls -g" has no effect?
I have trouble connecting to a SunOS based system. I've set the shell to /usr/bin/bash and ticked the get ls to list groups checkmark inside the shells settings menu.
If I ssh in with Putty and perform
bash
alias ls="ls -g"
ls -al
everything looks fine.
If I let Winscp do it, the alias seems to have NO effect! According to the log, it is as if the ls -g does do anything. Is there anyway to set winscp to simply output ls -gal everytime?
