Please attach a full session and debug log file showing the problem (using the latest version of WinSCP).

To generate log files, set Session.SessionLogPath and Session.DebugLogPath. Submit the log with your post as an attachment. You may want to remove other data you consider sensitive though, such as host names, IP addresses, account names or file names (unless they are relevant to the problem). If you do not want to post the log publicly, you can mark the attachment as private.

What I noticed was, though Timeout message had displayed, copy action was still progressing in the background and getting completed. How to check if the file transfer is successful and it's completion.

GetFiles method returns timeout exception for big files

Hi,

I am trying to download a big file and the getfiles method is returning timeout exception after some time. For small files, the code is working fine.

I am using VBA with winscpnet.dll. I gave timeout value as 30 secs and also tried without timeout, still I get the same issue for big files. Can anyone please suggest the issue.
