How do you "run the executable" exactly? In what environment?

Please attach a debug log file showing the problem (using the latest version of WinSCP).

To generate the session log file, set Session.DebugLogPath. Submit the log with your post as an attachment. If you do not want to post the log publicly, you can mark the attachment as private.

Timeout waiting for WinSCP to respond

I have an interesting problem
If I run my file upload program in the VB.net IDE it runs perfectly fine.

If I compile it, and run the executable I get this error

**ERROR: Timeout waiting for WinSCP to respond - WinSCP has not responded in time.There was no output. Response log file C:\Users\swindellvc\AppData\Local\Temp\wscpA080.03551B1B.tmp was not created. This could indicate lack of write permissions to the log folder or problems starting WinSCP itself.

I have Timeout of 2 Minutes in the session object.

In researching this issue this seems to be the common fix..but not so.
I have the lastest version of WCP and the dll's are the same.

anything else I should try?
