Drive Selection has no effect and does not switch to the selected drive as expected

When I try to select a mounted drive using the "drive drop-down list", WinSCP does not switch to that remote drive, but instead shows me my c:\windows\system32 folder. This is true for some of my network drives, but curiously not for all.
I'm using WinSCP 5.13.5 on Win7 64bit Enterprise.
