Is this new to 6.1.1 or any recent version? Or was it always that slow?
The last time we optimized loading of sites was in 5.6.2:
Issue 1220 – Optimize startup time
Can you test that version just to see if it got slower since then again?

Very slow loading connections manager with saved many connections WinSCP v 6.1.1.
Hello,
Every time I want to connect to a server, I have to open the connection manager. Unfortunately, the window takes manys seconds to load, which is terribly annoying.
Can you do something about it?
I have hundred connections with passwords saved.
