WinSCP does not have such functionality. But you can just try to download the file and if that fails, wait for some time. You can check the script failure from the WinSCP exit code.

I need some help with incorporating a check to see if a file exists before it is downloaded.

I am using batch files which are then automated

I need to check if a file exists before I download it and if not then wait for a period of time and then try again. I tried If Exist but Winscp did not seem to like this

any help would be much appreciated
