You cannot connect to telnet port with WinSCP. You need to use SSH port.

'Connection Refused'
When I try to connect to my Unix server - I'm getting the message as 'Connection Refused'.
But I could connect to the server using telnet or putty.
Our server has just telnet port open - So when I connect I give the host name, the telnet port no, login and password and I'm getting the following messages
Searching for Host..
Connecting to Host..
Host has not answered for 15 seconds - Abort/Retry?
Could someone please help me with this
