From your description, I do not understand what's your problem. Please try again :-) Also log file can be useful.

Can't open file ... ?
Hi,
wanted to copy files from local to the server.
HTML, gifs and jpegs -> no problem
But then I wanted to copy a whole dir...
"Can't open file..." then disappeared!
A retry failed, too. The only possibility
was to abort the copy.
Do you have any idea?
