I used to get wineserver crashed on a regular basis, but they stopped with Wine 0.9.42 and WinSCP 4.0.3 (on Ubuntu 7.04). Developers even said Wineserver should never crash but now it SEEMS TO work fine... You have been warned ;)

Thanks for the brilliant program! And bye-bye, Windows [put whatever release here]!

Re: Port to Linux

WinSCP works using Wine on Linux. I use RedHat 9 with the latest kernel. WinSCP will connect and transfer files but the gui near the tool bar is a little funky and the program is not as fast as it is under Windows. But it does install and run.
great program Prikryl, keep up the good work.

gFTP

gFTP supports SSH, which may mean SCP and/or SFTP. Either way, it's a pretty good graphical FTP client that you may want to check out.
