Do you have a write access to the path?
Yes. It is my own PC and I have administrator authority.
I have tried changing the path for the log file including just write a file to root of local drives c:\ or d:\ (c:\log.txt or d:\log.txt) and still no log file. If I enable the window it always comes up "logging is disabled".
Is there some type of windows service or other thing WinSCP expects to have, that maybe my PC does not have?
The reason I mention that, I saw this recently with another program. The program had some very odd and intermittent errors, seemed like no one else was having this problem. It was a long time before we found out the program required terminal services to be running. Because author used some SDK for feature he was not aware of requirement to check for it.
Could such a thing be possible here too? WinSCP is not finding something it wants? Or maybe finding something it shouldn't?
Thanks and regards,
