Re: changing user during a session

SFTP protocol does not support SU. With SCP there is potentially change to do it, but my experience is that shells do not allow SU for session without terminal emulation (WinSCP case).

changing user during a session

how can i change the user while a session is running.
in other words: i want to login as a normal user and change to root. this is like executing su.
is this possible?

thanx for help.
