I copied a path name and stupid MS Outlook also copied a trailing space. When I pasted this into the "open directory" dialog, I got the error message "Cannot get real path for '/var/www/vhosts/.skel/0/httpdocs '."

Perhaps WinSCP should remove trailing spaces/tabs/etc. (at least optionally) although it is possible to have directory names with such characters.
