Newbie Error- Didn't write password down

I am a new user. I downloaded and was able to use WINSCP for FTP transfer. It worked great. Best FTP program I have used to date. I went to log back on today and realized that I didn't write my password down. Is it possible to recover that some way. Alternatively, will I encounter any problems if I uninstall the application and re-install and try to make the same connection? I know I am not the first person to run into this. I know better. I ran into a problem with my hosting account and rep there recommended uploading files using your client software. So I rushed through it and got it to work, but now I can't access it again. Very bush league of me and I feel so embarrassed. I've been doing this for years and just slipped up. Can you help? Many thanks.
